Our Mission

Canine Construction Professional Dog Training takes a unique and balanced approach to training dogs that is distinctive from other dog trainers in the Napa Valley and surrounding areas. Guiding pack families on the adventure of training dogs has been a lifelong passion of Gwen’s.

Our students learn:

• to appreciate how dogs perceive and interact with their world,
• to read canine body language,
• to anticipate stimuli that motivates canine behavior
• to understand and appreciate proper hierarchical structure of the pack family.

In our courses, students become fully equipped to take a thoughtful approach to the communication and training of their own canine family member, lessons that last a lifetime! Simply put, our mission is to help dog owners shape well-mannered dogs to be a joy not only in the homes in which they live, but also to be welcome in the communities they share with others.
